Always consider this listed items whenever you want to engage in any project

For every project plan to succeed, please have all this at the back of your mind.

People carry out projects out on a daily basis,  a road side hawker does have a daily planned projected amount which in their language they say give or take according to my research, they will make this amount or that.

Even meat sellers all have projected view of what they will sell in a day, or from Monday till Saturday, they all plan toward achieving their target.

As humans, sometimes we write all this down, most times we do not but literally i tell you, for you to be a successful project manager or business man or woman, you must write down and properly plan for you to succeed and make sure you close that project deal to keep your client/s happy and always ask for your services...

So please always consider this:
A. What are the benefits of Project to you or the society or the share holders, government, stake holders as the case maybe.
B. Outputs - simply means what are we producing, what will the project be made up of strategically u must identify all these.
C. Resources - As we all know nothing can function without some basic elements such as capital(money) and human resources(people). Good budget plan must be done to avoid project delay and skilled personnel for their different roles.
D. Quality - give or take the quality of your outputs will determine your sales margin be it a product and in case of services, your quality of work and deliverable will determine your business success.

E. Management structure - we must have very good management qualities to survive in any project, presently mismanagement is why we have lots of abandoned projects, so care must be taken when structuring your project teams broken down according to departments with heads to manage each activities.

F. Milestones - simply means ways by which all project must be broken down so that you do not have over loading in a particular session. Projects must be shared among team members to have a run and smooth operations.

G. Tolerances - so far so good i have had the privilege to witness level of tolerances in projects over the years and i can tell you that every project do have it "that is it i can not continue with it", so you must put a +/- clause to the level you can go no further.

H. Risks - this aspect of every project must always be checked from the start of the project to the hand over stage because often times claims from workers generate lots of problems for project managers and owners of projects.

Legal actions from workers on health safety and environment should in case of accidents or injuries of workers causes lot of ripple effects, which are associated with delays in project, funding the project, time frame of the which means extension at times and the end result is increase in cost.

All levels of risk assessment and risk management must be constantly check from every stage of the on going project to avoid accidents.

I. Schedule - means how each project phases are distributed, most project managers make use of software to achieve this but i will tell you to write it down first in hard copies before putting it in a soft copy.

That way you can always go back if u making mistake with names or tasks scheduling.

N:B please find time to read and memorize all this, it will help you manage your project and time very well.
